Fund is managed by Groundwork UK with guidance from an independently controlled
Reference Group. The Group has members representing:
· Western Riverside Waste Authority
· Groundwork UK
· plus 2 independent members, one of whom chairs the group
has recently joined the Reference Group as chair. He is a professional waste manager, and currently provides consultation services to the waste and resource management industry and local government bodies. He has strong links to all of the boroughs covered by the Western Riverside Environmental Fund, and is a board member of two charities in the area.
Mark Broxup / Sharon Ross
are the General & Deputy Manager of the Western Riverside Waste Authority. They both have extensive experience in the waste management industry and are
enthusiastic about the potential of the fund and the improvements it
can bring to the environment.
is an ecologist and environmental campaigner who has worked for the London Wildlife Trust. She is conversant with the grant-making process. She is a freelance writer for The Ecology Consultancy and holds a number of voluntary roles with not-for-profit and statutory groups.
is a member of the Board of Trustees for Groundwork London. He is now an economic consultant specialising in regulation, governance structures and infrastructure financing in the water and transport sectors. His early career was in central government and he subsequently had experience working as regulation director in both the water and rail industries. He was a member of the Competition Commission for 8 years until 2013 and is currently an associate of Indepen Consulting Ltd.
