The
Fund is managed by Groundwork UK with guidance from an independently controlled
Reference Group. The Group has members representing:
· Western Riverside Waste Authority
· Groundwork UK
· plus 2 independent members, one of whom chairs the group
Janet Legrand
is a solicitor and partner at DLA Piper.
She has acted as solicitor to the Western Riverside Waste Authority
since its creation and is delighted to chair the Reference Group of
the Western Riverside Environmental Fund.
Mark Broxup
is the General Manager of the Western Riverside Waste Authority and
has extensive experience in the waste management industry. He is
enthusiastic about the potential of the fund and the improvements it
can bring to the environment.
Melanie Oxley
Melanie was the second member of staff for the London Wildlife Trust in London in 1981 and joined the Board of Trustees last year. Melanie has a wealth of experience offering consultancy advice to charitable groups, and has been a communications professional, managing media, marketing, events and public affairs/ campaigning. She also has experience of fundraising and grant management processes.
June Campbell
June was recently appointed Chair of the newly formed Sub Regional Committee of the Board of Trustees for Groundwork London.
She is also Chair of the Management Committee at Volunteer Centre Camden. She has lived in London for the past 20 years and brings a wealth of experience from a marketing and business background.
