At
Hammersmith Park, WREF supported a project which provided a clean, safe,
secure water play facility for local children and improved quality of
play by providing a varied play experience. The site is on the edge
of Hammersmith Park and was previously a sandpit and paddling pool with
attendant Health and Safety and maintenance problems. The new facility
replaced this with a series of underground water jets and pumps operated
